Dollar General Corp.
I chose Dollar Gernal Corp. because recently they seem to be popping up everywhere. I also personally shop there quite a bit. It is a nice alternative to the WalMart scene, especially when all you are shopping for is the basics. I am interested to learn more about their strategy.
Dollar General is actually very successful in developing countries --- I would be interested to hear more about that.
ReplyDeleteDollar General is really starting to pop up in tiny communities everywhere. They seem to be expanding rather rapidly. I wonder if it is too rapidly?
ReplyDeleteI worked with DG in my previous job and was impressed with their company. I've actually been to their headquarters, just north of Nashville.
ReplyDeleteI think that Dollar General and Family Dollar are over expanding and if a major shift in demand happens it could really hurt their cash flow. I am still looking for more data to support this theory, bu they both are growing by leaps and bounds.
